Our unit examines the laws and regulations regarding Civil Defense and prepares the civil defense plan of our University and supervises the work and transactions carried out on civil defense issues.
Responsibilities,
· To prepare civil defense plans and update these plans,
· Coordinating the evacuation planning of public institutions and organizations,
· Ensuring the establishment of civil defense services and ensuring their training,
· Planning the supply and supply of tools, equipment and materials required for disaster, civil defense and emergency services by coordinating with the relevant units, and monitoring the maintenance and protection of the existing ones,
· To determine the necessary funds for disaster, civil defense, emergency and mobilization services by coordinating with the relevant units and to ensure that they are included in the budget,
· Coordinating the response in case of disaster and emergency and informing senior managers,
· To monitor and examine the legislation, publications and directives regarding the services and to fulfill their requirements,
· In order to fulfill the duties specified in this Regulation; To ensure cooperation and coordination between the Institution and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate and other public institutions and organizations,
· Carrying out work and operations related to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense,
· To monitor the implementation of the provisions of the Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings, which was put into effect by the Decision of the Council of Ministers dated 27/11/2007 and numbered 2007/12937, and to supervise the fire prevention measures,
· Carrying out the procedures regarding receiving and giving warning and alarm news within the institution and operating the siren system,
· To organize and carry out the institution's shelter-related services,
· To provide training to the personnel of the institution and the personnel of private organizations subject to the supervision of the institution on disaster, civil defense, emergency, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats and dangers, protective security and first aid,
· To provide secretarial services on behalf of the institution in exercises related to disaster, civil defense, emergency and mobilization, and to ensure that exercises are organized and carried out in the institution regarding these issues,
· To supervise disaster, civil defense, emergency, mobilization and protective security services carried out in public institutions and organizations subject to the supervision of the institution,
· To carry out the work and procedures related to mobilization and war preparations and to ensure that they are carried out,
· To provide secretarial services for the Disaster and Emergency Management Center of the institution, to ensure coordination with the Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Center,
· To ensure the coordination of protective security services, to monitor and supervise the service on behalf of the superior of public institutions and organizations,
· To carry out the duties assigned by the top manager of the institution in accordance with the relevant legislation.
